What object are you obsessed with? A bowl of ramen? The boom box from your youth? Giant fluffy moths? Whatever you’re obsessed with, I’m obsessed with recreating it in purse form.

Yes, it will purse.

Part of the joy of making these purses is finding the perfect material to replicate the real life texture of the object. I use only deadstock, upcycled, and vintage fabrics in my work as part of my sustainable practice. Materials may be hand painted, quilted, or beaded to achieve the perfect look.

What to know:

How long will my custom purse take to make?

Turnaround time is typically 4 to 5 weeks, but more involved pieces (lots of hand work or complex pattern design) may take up to two months. Please be aware that you may be added to a waitlist depending on demand. If you have time constraints, please let me know when you contact me.

Are there any types of purses you won’t make?

My artistic style is realism, so I’m inspired to create purses that trick the eye and make you do a double take. Inanimate objects are my favorite, but I’m open minded to your unique idea! If I don’t think a particular concept is within my wheelhouse, I may turn you down or offer other ideas.

What if I have lots of different ideas?

It’s really exciting to get a custom made purse, and you may be tempted to throw all your ideas into one. It makes for a much stronger design if you pick one theme to focus on and pick details that match. I can help you with that!

How much does a custom purse cost?

You can expect a custom purse to start at £500. Extra hardware, a complex design, or hand work like painting, embroidery, etc will affect the price. Reach out for a custom quote. The price is broken down into two payments: a deposit at the start and a final payment upon completion of the work.

Will my custom purse fit my phone/wallet/keys?

Yes, if that’s what you need! You stipulate the dimensions you need for your purse to be functional. These custom needs may also include a detachable strap, certain closures, interior pockets, etc.
